Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliable operation of heavy mining and earthmoving equipment.
- Assist in planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment availability and minimize downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and help identify maintenance and reliability issues.
- Manage the inventory of maintenance spare parts and consumables to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming parts and materials, ensuring quantities and specifications are correct.
- Monitor spare parts usage and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate reorder requests to ensure timely availability of required parts and materials.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and inventory records and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems used in mobile equipment.
- Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and equipment reliability programs.
- Experience in open-pit mining operations or large-scale earthmoving projects.
- Knowledge of OEM procedures and equipment from brands such as Komatsu, Caterpillar, Hitachi, or Volvo.
- Familiarity with HSE standards and maintenance planning practices.
- Experience working in remote or international project environments.
- Proficient in English.
