Responsibilities
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, furniture, and structures using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, stripping, cleaning, sealing, or applying primers before painting.
- Remove old finishes through sanding, wire brushing, abrasive blasting, or other approved methods.
- Protect surrounding areas during painting activities and install proper safety signage.
- Clean, maintain, and properly store painting tools and equipment after use.
- Coordinate with vendors or supervisors regarding paint color mixing and finishing requirements.
- Follow company safety, security, and maintenance procedures at all times.
- Perform masonry works including repairs, surface finishing, and tile setting tasks.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and resolve maintenance-related issues.
- Monitor contractor work quality and ensure project efficiency.
- Maintain professional appearance and safeguard company assets.
- Ensure tenant satisfaction through quality workmanship and timely service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in masonry and painting field
- Previous Middle East experience as Mason/Painter is an advantage
- With experience as Tile Setter is preferred
- With at least 2-year technical course, vocational training, or accredited certification related to Masonry/Painting
- Able to speak and understand English confidently
- Good work attitude, discipline, and professional conduct
Compensation and Benefits
- Basic Salary: QAR 1,800
