Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef in food preparation and kitchen tasks.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, counters, and floors.
- Set up cooking utensils and kitchen equipment such as knives, pans, and kitchen tools.
- Help receive, unpack, and store food supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Chef.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain recycling practices.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Work on flexible schedules as required.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as Kitchen Helper in a restaurant or hotel (GCC experience is an advantage)
- Able to handle different kitchen tasks
- Can follow instructions from chefs and supervisors promptly
- Physically fit and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good English communication skills
