Responsibilities
- Provide counseling to help students with academic, personal, and social concerns.
- Guide students in setting goals and making good decisions.
- Assist in choosing subjects, courses, or career paths.
- Monitor student progress and provide support when needed.
- Organize career talks, seminars, and guidance activities.
- Help students prepare for college or job applications.
- Offer support during crises or emotional difficulties.
- Work with teachers, parents, and staff to support student development.
- Keep student records and maintain confidentiality.
- Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment.
Qualifications
- Female
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Guidance Counseling, or a related field
- Licensed Guidance Counselor
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a guidance counselor, preferably in a school or educational institution
- Strong knowledge of student counseling, career guidance, and developmental psychology
- Ability to assess students’ needs, provide support, and develop effective intervention plans
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide emotional and social support to students
- Experience in organizing workshops, seminars, and programs to promote student well-being
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: AED 2,000 (Basic) + AED 2,000 (Allowance) per month
