Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, menus, and quality standards.
- Ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation in the kitchen and work areas.
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
- Properly store and handle food and kitchen supplies.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Monitor kitchen supplies and report shortages or damaged items.
- Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or Hospitality Management.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel or cruise ship.
- Must be willing to undergo German language training for 3–5 months, starting in the last week of September.
Compensation and Benefits
- Basic gross salary: EUR2,100 (PHP 140,000–150,000)
- Working hours: 40 hours per week
