Responsibilities
- Ensure daily back-of-house operations comply with standard operating procedures.
- Perform food preparation for fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, and fish according to recipes.
- Prepare and present food items to recipe standards, including tasting and adjusting flavors.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
- Ensure all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and sanitary.
- Monitor and replenish kitchen supplies as needed.
- Prepare and serve à la carte food daily.
- Take customer orders and serve food accordingly.
- Prepare hot and cold beverages; barista skills are an advantage.
- Work independently during assigned shifts as required.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie
- Experience in fine-dining restaurants or 4–5 star hotels (hotel experience preferred)
- Knowledge in preparing international dishes, cold food, and snacks
- Familiar with food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Good English communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
Basic Salary: QAR 2,200
Food Allowance: QAR 300
